Ok, so paint poruing is a little messy but not as bad as I thought it would be. The Color Matrix mixing chart is great as I able to make my own colors very easily with the recipes in the chart. I like that the kit includes a separate vial of liquid silicone and pipette for creating cells and you can add the silicone to the colors you want. Using playing cards instead of a paint brush was a brand new experience for me, but the technique is legit it makes the trees and branches look real by creating cells that I wanted to learn how to do. I was successful the first try! The video tutorial shows you two examples and was very helpful. It’s a fun project and a great intro to paint pouring. I am so happy I got the subscription I can’t wait to try more projects from artkits.com!!!

I loved this paint pouring project! The video tutorial shows you how to pour or drizzle the paints and how to create a realistic tree base and branches using playing cards. This was much easier than I expected it to be and I love my new painting! I highly recommend trying The Tree of Life!
